70.1:The Guidestones

about

I wrote and recorded this back in 2011, but it's very, very relevant now.
Wish I wouldn't have slept so much in the past 9 years (spiritually).

lyrics

19 feet off the ground they stand
Stones to guide the man-kind
Defined us as out of balanced
"Nature must be maintained"
They say they'll unite the world with new language
What is not mentioned so overtly
Is that we must see
billions from earth flee in death
What is not understood is we could
Be seeing this soon, the world in a tomb,
Instead - let's be collaborative
Remember to give
But not to the Ones Who Take Without Asking
Let's be a force divorced from these wars
Married to this peace, from violence we're fasting
Cuz world history is worth this to me,
you see slavery in every story
Beware those who guide
Here's the first five
of the points in all of their glory:

"Maintain humanity under 500 million in perpetual balance with nature
Guide reproduction wisely improving fitness and diversity
Unite humanity with a living new language
Rule passion, faith, tradition, and all things with tempered reason
protect people and all lands with fair laws and just courts"

What just court could justify war
on over 6 billion of us, let's contemplate
Should we advocate for our deaths and sheepdog each other
constantly or replace
Our sheepish nature with wisdom
Questioning is the way to answers if you
Can realize we're swimming in lies
You'll be the first one to get on that ark of truth
This boat to big enough to fit us all
Forget "them vs. us"
It's just you -
And every freedom you give is currency spent
so invest the rest on blessing this quest
from west to east test test the powers behest of us
We need you to come lest we lose
And give up this life
The ones who want to guide proclaim these next five:

"Let all nations rule internally
Resolving external disputes
In a World Court
Avoid petty laws and useless officials
Balance personal rights with social duties
Prize truth, beauty, love
Seeking harmony with the Infinite
Be not a cancer on the Earth
Leave room for Nature
Leave room for Nature."
